For many residents who own an RV, monthly RV living is a flexible and affordable alternative to apartment living. Monthly sites start at $500 per month plus electric — significantly less than most Central Texas apartment rents.
Is Journey's RV Park near Fort Hood?+
Yes. Journey's serves guests looking for monthly RV living within reach of Fort Hood, Killeen, Harker Heights, Temple, and Belton — 23 minutes to the North Fort Hood Gate via Highway 36.
Is Journey's a Christian RV park?+
Journey's is a faith-based RV community built on Christian values of hospitality, integrity, respect, and community. Guests of all backgrounds are welcome to stay and enjoy the property.
How is electric billed?+
We use sub-metered electricity at true pass-through utility rates — no markup and no hidden fees. You pay only what the utility charges for your actual usage.
What are the site details?+
Every site is 18 × 50 feet with water, sewer, and electric (30 & 50 amp), a level surface, and access to our 10 acres of open Bell County countryside.
Can my RV fit?+
Sites measure 18 × 50 feet. Pull-through sites accommodate rigs up to 65 feet including a tow vehicle, and back-in sites fit rigs up to 50 feet. Call (254) 541-5390 with your length and we will confirm the site.
Do you have pull-through sites?+
Yes. Pull-through sites are available and handle combinations up to 65 feet, so you can arrive, level, and hook up without unhitching.
Do you offer weekly and daily stays?+
Yes. Daily stays are $40 per night and weekly stays are $225. Monthly stays start at $500 plus sub-metered electric and are our most common arrangement.
What amenities are available?+
Full hookups at every site, onsite laundry, restrooms and hot showers, an 800 sq ft indoor WiFi lounge, a private one-mile walking trail, and an event and meeting space.
Are pets allowed?+
Yes, dogs and cats are welcome, and there is a private one-mile walking trail on the property.

How far is Journey's from Temple, Belton, and Belton Lake?+
Leona Park on Belton Lake is about 1 minute away, the Temple Medical District is about 15 minutes, and Belton is roughly 10–25 minutes depending on where you are headed.
