Yes. Journey's is designed for monthly RV guests and long-term residents who want a peaceful Central Texas RV community.
Is Journey's RV Park a good alternative to apartment living?+
For many residents who own an RV, monthly RV living is a flexible and affordable alternative to apartment living. Monthly sites are $500 to $525 per month plus electric — significantly less than most Central Texas apartment rents.
Is Journey's RV Park near Fort Hood?+
Yes. Journey's serves guests looking for monthly RV living within reach of Fort Hood, Killeen, Harker Heights, Temple, and Belton — 23 minutes to the North Fort Hood Gate via Highway 36.
Is Journey's a Christian RV park?+
Journey's is a faith-based RV community built on Christian values of hospitality, integrity, respect, and community. Guests of all backgrounds are welcome to stay and enjoy the property.
How is electric billed?+
We use sub-metered electricity at true pass-through utility rates — no markup and no hidden fees. You pay only what the utility charges for your actual usage.
What are the site details?+
Back-in sites are 18 × 50 feet and pull-through sites are 18 × 65 feet, each with water, sewer, and electric (30 & 50 amp), a level surface, and access to our 10 acres of open Bell County countryside.
Can my RV fit?+
Back-in sites measure 18 × 50 feet and pull-through sites measure 18 × 65 feet, with room for your tow vehicle. Call (254) 541-5390 with your length and we will confirm the site.
Do you have pull-through sites?+
Yes. Our pull-through sites are 18 × 65 feet, so you can arrive, level, and hook up without unhitching.
Do you offer weekly and daily stays?+
Yes. Daily stays are $40 per night and weekly stays are $225. Monthly stays are $500 to $525 plus sub-metered electric and are our most common arrangement.
What amenities are available?+
Full hookups at every site, onsite laundry, restrooms and hot showers, an 800 sq ft indoor WiFi lounge, a private walking trail, and an event and meeting space.
Are pets allowed, and is there a pet fee?+
Yes, dogs and cats are welcome and there is no park pet fee. Keep your pet on a leash any time it is outside your camper, no vicious or nuisance pets, and please clean up after your pet — there is a $25 fee if pet waste is not picked up. There is a private walking trail on the property.
What time is check-in and check-out?+
Check-in is 10:30am and check-out is 10:00am. If your travel day does not line up with those times, call or text (254) 541-5390 and we will work with you.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Cancel at least 10 days before your arrival date for a full refund minus the processing fee. Cancellations with less than 10 days' notice become a reservation credit good for up to one year.
How much is the deposit?+
The deposit is $100 and it is refundable when you leave the site in good condition. There is no application fee or admin fee.
How fast do you reply to the availability form?+
Usually within 2 to 4 hours during office hours, and often sooner. If you need an answer right away, call or text (254) 541-5390.
What are your office hours?+

How do I check availability?+
Use the availability form at /check-availability or call (254) 541-5390. We confirm what is open, what size rig fits, and your total first-month cost before you commit.
How far is Journey's from Temple, Belton, and Belton Lake?+
Leona Park on Belton Lake is about a 1-minute drive, the Temple Medical District is about 15 minutes, and Belton is roughly 10–25 minutes depending on where you are headed.
